For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the firm is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

• Enquiry form: the name, contact details and description of your matter that you type into the contact form.
• Calls and WhatsApp: if you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, the number and messages you send, handled through those services.
• Property checklist tool: the purchase description you enter is sent to an AI service to generate the checklist and is not stored by us. A limited, anonymised usage counter is kept to prevent abuse.
• Usage and performance data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and page-speed measurements, collected through analytics and our own performance monitoring.
• Staff accounts: sign-in details for authorised firm staff only.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and decide whether the firm can assist, including running a conflict check.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.
• To meet legal and professional obligations, including those under the Bar Council of India Rules.

We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing and do not sell or rent personal data.

Confidentiality of what you tell us

Information sent through the website before the firm agrees to act for you is treated in confidence, but it does not by itself create a lawyer–client relationship. Please do not send highly sensitive documents until the firm has confirmed it can take on your matter.

Who we share it with

Service providers who host the website, store enquiries, provide analytics, or process AI requests, acting on our instructions; and authorities where the law requires. These providers may process data outside India, subject to the transfer rules under Indian law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and, where you become a client, for the period required by professional and legal record-keeping obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted when no longer needed.

Cookies

The site uses essential storage to function and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Your rights

Subject to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, have it erased, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise these rights.
